Two friends.

Noor began the way all good things do — over a cup of chai and a conversation that went on too long. A South Indian and a Pakistani, best friends bound by a shared love of spice, stories, and a longing for a space that felt like home.

"We didn't just want to open a café. We wanted to open a door — to our dads' kitchens, our ammis' chai, our paatis' recipes."

At Noor, South Indian filter coffee sits beside karak chai. The diaspora isn't something we talk about — it's something you taste, smell, and feel the moment you walk in. Two cultures that, when brought together, don't compete. They complete each other.

Steps away from ASU Tempe, we're building Noor to be your home between classes, your third place after work, and the spot where strangers become regulars over a second cup.

We're designing Noor to be the kind of place you arrive intending to spend an hour and realize three have passed. Drawing from the warmth of South Asian home kitchens and the focused energy of a great study space — brass fixtures, warm wood, geometric tilework, and chai flowing freely.
